What helps you be creative?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for July 24, 2009:
Well many things actually. I can look out at the garden or look at an old bicycle with vines intertwined in the spokes of the wheels and it makes a cool picture. I can look at my dog and cat curled up together on the couch. Everything has an inspiration when you look at them from different angles and perspectives.

And this entry was no exception; you've inspired me to creativity just in the writing of it. Thank you.
Hi Siona,
why thank you. But I have always done that. Even moving furniture in the living room I sit in each seat to make sure that who ever might be sitting there would be comfortable and have a clear view of everything. It is just my thing I guess.

You're a wonder, Debby. Compassion and perspective-taking, to me, are the mark of such wisdom. :)
Hi Siona,
I am going to be 50 next month and have learned a lot over 1/2 of a century. I do not consider myself as a wonder but more as a human who cares about other people and takes risks with trusting them. I have trusted many people who in the end turned out to be bitter people. But that is their destiny not mine.
Let me tell you a quick story. I went to Wal Mart the other day and being pre occupied I ran my cart into an elderly lady's cart. I was in a foul mood but I turned and smiled at her said I was sorry. She looked at me and smiled back and said I was not paying attention and I am in a bad mood. But thank you because you are the first person who smiled at me today. we spoke for serveral minutes but both walked away smiling.
Life is to short smile , laugh and enjoy.
